I have been with Vodafone for years and the last two years on the old warspeed/ 100mbps Up / 10 mbps downstream Cable network service

and am looking at upgrading to Fibre so I can take advantage of the faster upstream speeds at 20mbps and because I am streaming live video feeds off shore to the USA all the speed helps =)

Is it true that Cable customers will not be offered Fibre connection even if its available in the area ( main priority for me is connection and speed for upstreaming live video feed to the USA )

any help much appreciated

Thanks

Jamie

Yep it's true. No Vodafone fibre in existing cable areas.

As mentioned in the other thread - just get fibre with another provider.

Jamie1990:

...2 providers? Guess it depends how much you want fibre vs having one bill with tv/phone/internet, but yeah freeview is always an option don't vodafone offer that as a free option,

I'm on VF cable Freeview - standard definition only,

"Free" actually costs $15 per month for the "digital TV recorder" .

NOT a bargain.  undecided   I intend to cancel soon.

Leave Vodafone.

Now.
