Hi all. There's an old Saturn cable box stuck on the side of my house I want gone. Can I just cut it off at the ground without electrocuting myself?? Then I can trace the cable inside the house and remove it all.

Please don't remove it yourself, we can get somebody out to disconnect it. You won't electrocute yourself, but it can degrade the performance of other cable users in the area. Either call us or PM your details to me or @shaunm and we can get it sorted.

So they came on Friday and removed the Vodafone HFC cable including the ETP, I'm not sure if it was Downer or other as I was in Auckland so my wife dealt with them. They did a good job leaving no trace behind.

Thanks for organising that @gaddman, I didn't expect it to happen that quick but definitely good for the future fibre install
