Hi,

As of Sunday 21st July 2019 around 5:00am I got an email that my Synology NAS lost its connection. Upon trying to reach "www.synology.com", I noticed that I could not get into the website at all. However on mobile network 4G, I could get into the website without any problems. Is there any problems with Vodafone DNS servers?

I use these DNS addresses as shown here (http://help.vodafone.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/27167/~/vodafone-dns-settings-and-flushing-your-cache):

  • Primary DNS:  203.109.191.1
  • Secondary DNS:  203.118.191.1

There are some form of hiccups when I browse the net (like web loading slow at times) but synology.com is the only website that I cannot get in, and always get the 'Server not found' message. Prior to this I don't have any problems at all. This is so weird.

Should be fixed now, but yell out if you still see problems (don't forget to clear DNS cache on PC and router first)
