Hi Team

I've been living with no audio on incoming calls for around 2 months on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.  I can do a network reset and the problem goes away for a few days.  I swapped my old cut-down SIM for a shiny new one a fortnight ago and that did not fix the issue.  Today, I called the Vodafone Ninja Team and spoke with a gentleman in India who was good enough to listen to my troubleshooting steps before logging a ticket for the next level team to look at (rather than making me re-do the basics with him).  I thanked him generously for that.

Does anyone have any suggestions to shortcut resolving this?

Cheers

@grayskull @stw and anyone else who is having this issue (intermittent incoming calls where neither party can hear the other, aka dead air) - there was a carrier settings update released today that should fix this.

Please go to Settings > General > About and you should be prompted to update. After the update the Service Provider field should show ‘Voda NZ 45.1’.

Note that this update is for the iPhone 12 series and only applies to iOS 14.3, 14.4, 14.4.1, and 14.4.2. We also recommend that you update to 14.4.2 if you haven’t already done so.

If anyone is still experiencing this issue after these updates then please contact us using the normal channels so it can be investigated further.
