Hi there,

 

 

 

I've just gone onto UFB but now having a issue, I may be missing something silly but devices on wifi cant connect to Ethernet connected devices, cant even ping them but can if I plug the laptop in via Ethernet, any ideas? surely they should be able to talk to each other

  1. Ensure "Enable AP isolation" is unticked on HG659 web interface > Home Network > WLAN Settings > Advanced Settings
  2. Ensure you're not connected to the "Guest (wifi) Network" and that it is disabled or has a different SSID to your primary network: HG659 > Home Network > WLAN Settings > Guest Network
  3. Ensure Windows devices have the network set as "Home" or "Work" as opposed to "Public" in Network and Sharing Center.

Hi,

 

 

 

Thanks for the reply, turns out it was the modem, worked out it wasn't giving out DHCP to anything on the LAN either, a reboot fixed it.
