Does anyone know why vodafone has some 850mhz sites. I saw it on gis geek and wondered why they were there.

Vodafone dont.

MR442. It's spark, GIS is presenting incorrectly.

This is why i tend to advise against GIS. it shows licences and assumed  locations etc.

Take a few of the local spots around me, VF have bought licenses for every band, but they 100% will not deploy all of those.

Also a few sites that VF tried for RBI, before having it turned down, as VF still own the licence though it will always show.

Same goes for towers that may not be live for whatever reason but already built and ready to go.
