I am with Snap on UFB in Christchurch.

From what I can see, our phone has a SIP address/settings.

Situation: Most of our relatives live in Dunedin. We'd like to have a Dunedin phone number that people can call that redirects to our phone in our house in Christchurch.

Is this possible? eg. is there some service that I can subscribe to that gives us a Dunedin number that I can then configure to redirect to our phone?

Or is there another solution that would achieve the same thing - ie allow Dunedin based people to make a local call that redirect to our phone in Christchurch.

All advice/info/suggestions gratefully received.

Nigel H.

Fairly easy to do with a service such as 2talk. Sign up, grab a regional number and have it forward all calls to your Christchurch number....or even better, get a VoIP ata and terminate the calls to that.
