I have just realised that perhaps I've installed something that isn't meant to work, or is it? - hopefully somebody can shed some light.

I have installed Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition on my laptop which has an intel core 2 duo 7350 2GHz CPU.
A 32-bit processor right?

So how have I manged to get a 64-bit OS running?

Can you install it but it just performs like a 32-bit OS?
