Im using a borrowed dell while my thinkpad replacement power adapter arrives.
Anyway, when I use the volume keys on the dell, they are sent down RDP and adjust the remote computer, whereas on the thinkpad they did the local actual volume (not the windows mixer) - This is what I would expect for volume buttons.
On the dell they are on the front with all the other media keys, so I think they are just acting as keys like on a multimedia keyboard, not an actual volume control.
Anyway, is there any way to stop RDP trapping those keys and sending them down to the remote PC, as I have no way of controlling it without minimizing the RDP and then using them and then restoring the RDP session. Its a shame that they are not proper volume buttons but I guess its easier for them to just put in more keys at the front.
