I found a copy of the emails on my ISP's webmail.   Prepare to gag.

Dear Beloved Friend,

I WILL LIKE YOU TO ACCEPT THIS TOKEN WITH GOOD FAITH.

How are you doing today? I hope all is well with you? I know that this mail might get to you as a surprise, I got your email address from the ICCC - International Christian Chamber of Commerce while searching for spiritual assignment. I am using this opportunity to inform you that I have successfully transferred my fund out of the company to Mr. Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, The Deputy Prime Minister of Energy and Industry Qatar Petroleum.

I want to express my gratitude to God almighty that has made the investment very profitable and successful. God has answers your divine prayer and your desire to assist other will also be fulfilled through this message. I have issued the cheque credit of US$986,000.00 to our Reverend Mike Arnsel in your favor for your divine, fervent prayers, hospitality and mercy you have showed to others because the World needs more of such dedicated men and women today.

I am now investing in a profitable blue chip company under a joint business partnership with Dr. Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah in Iraq. I have also authorized Reverend Mike Arnsel to transfer or deliver the cheque to you as soon as you contacted him for the collection. The name and contact address of our Reverend Mike Arnsel with your bank draft is:

1: Name: Reverend Father Mike Arnsel ( of Roman Catholic Church )
2:

Please, I will like you to accept this token with good faith as this is from the bottom of my heart. I know that you never do any business with me but I want you to accept this token and get in touch with Reverend Mike Arnsel for the collection of your cheque. My sincere advice to you as a Christian is that you should endeavor to pay your tithe to a bible believing church when you get the compensation money.

Get in touch with Reverend Mike Arnsel through:
Thank you for effort and God bless you and your family. Hope to hear from you soon.

Yours Sincerely,
Mrs. Esther Donald

Ragnor: Most likely it's spammers spoofing your email address as the From/Reply To address for spam they are sending out.

Happens all the time and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

TBH it has to be a pretty crappy mailserver to let this through. It should pick up straight away that the from is a local address and isn't authenticated.

Weird!  I just looked back at my ISP webmail and there are hundreds of those sent from there.  None at all
on my home computer.

What do you mean by header?

Wait a minute then. You are saying these are actually in your SENT folder?

If this is the case, then there could be something on your computer, using your email configuration to send things out.

It's slowed right down just like others have said.  I only found it on the ISP online webmail, not on my home computer.
I've run every virus/malware/adware program I can think of and only found 1 cookie and 2 minor risk adwares.

I already asked the ISP.  They said it won't make any difference, but I can have a new email.

Changing your password will make a difference. The ISP doesn't need to know your webmail password (is there a way for you to change it yourself?)

I have to change it with the ISP first.  There's no other way of doing it.

Consider GMail. I feel confident in saying it is far superior to any ISP mail platform.

The added advantage is you never have to change your email when you change your ISP.

I just spoke to computer technicians.  If it was a virus it would have shown up in the sent folder of my windows mail.
Because of where it was, they think my ISP has been hacked.

I'd have thought a virus would just grab your mail server settings and contacts from windows mail and sent the emails directly itself, therefore they would not appear in the outbox.
