The "mandatory" sign in the background seems oddly relevant too!

Need a lot more information than that.

Laptop model?

Have you tried to update graphics drivers?

update and restart has made it better, but not ideal -

everything i do on the trackpad i have to do it twice before it works.

one click does nothing have to click again. it's like it's saying are you sure?

scroll does nothing, scroll the second time it will scroll. are you sure?

yes yes i am sure !@#$

and then it just suddenly works, and then i am sure it will also suddenly not work

and i'm also sure it's a dell thing. dell does not play well with windows updates.

palm on trackpad sorry

when i'm typing it seems every so often it (very quickly but noticable) types something, deletes it and then types it again. weird.

I installed 11 on a old Laptop (win8 era hardware). It Works OK . Strangely 11 is considerably better (faster) than Win7 that was on it .

Whats the spec of your new laptop ?
Does you new laptop have an SSD , or mechanical HD ?

Only just discovered the existence of this -

https://www.tomsguide.com/how-to/how-to-install-windows-11-right-now-and-avoid-the-wait

specifically the Windows 11 Installation Assistant.

Would anyone know if you have a Dell laptop that shipped with Windows and compatible for Windows 11 if you can create restore media with Windows 11?

I noticed it would grab the latest ver of Windows 10 and inject the missing drivers needed and be good to go.

There is talk about issues with AMD components. I might have heard that is resolved in the current Insider build. I'm considering update of a system with AMD components. I'm not there yet.

It's the latest 8 core i7 with 2tb ssd and more ram than my first ssd.

When it works it's amazing, but every now and then it will have micro stuttering.

I don't see anything different from Windows 10 other than many options are hidden under even more layers of hiddenness.

Basically a skin wallpapered on Windows 10 wallpapered on Windows 8 wallpapered on Windows 7.
