Is there an easy way of telling in Windows 10 if a notebook has an active digitizer or not?

I bought a cheap hybrid notebook (HP X2 - it doesn't say "Pavilion" anywhere in my version but is definitely not the higher end Envy version shown on google).

Given it was really cheap, I didn't have any expectations of an active digitizer or being able to use a pen. But I've upgraded it to windows 10 and in several menus/settings there is reference to full pen support, choosing right and left hands etc. If I were able to add pen support it could be a nice wee note taker.

But I can't find a conclusive answer anywhere about whether or not it would support a pen or not. I've tried it with a Surface 3 Pro pen and it doesn't seem to work but google seems to suggest that he surface pens are slightly different and only work with a limited range of PCs.
