Was looking at this offer for a chromebook on here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=77&topicid=180889. His link was to Noel Leeming and in a big bold image on the site is the offer to upgrade to Windows 10... on a chromebook.




Why do they do this? Why cause customer confusion that will lead to lost sales and disappointment? I know it is yet another take on retailers having no understanding of what they are selling, but still.

it is yet another take on retailers having no understanding of what they are selling


Alternately, it may be some sort of logic failing in their 'show the upgrade button' that is seeing the word 'Windows' in the OS spec, but not the number '10' and assuming it's an old version of Windows that can be upsold.
