For some reason I get frequent DNS errors with Google Chrome only (W 10).

If I clear the Chrome cache using:

chrome://net-internals/#dns

it makes no difference.

If I run ipconfig /flushDNS, this sorts the issue - but it comes back quite soon.

When sites are unreachable using Chrome (DNS error) then the sites work perfectly using Edge or IE.

It could be something dumb I've done, but google has not been my friend trying to sort it out.

Any ideas what this could be and how to solve it welcomed - except "use another browser".

Your post sounds remarkably like the problem my wife's Windows 10 PC was experiencing - even down to the "reset DNS" shortcut to resolve it!

We fixed it in the end by turning off DNS Proxy in the router.  (Orcon NF4V)
