Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place...I'm trying to save a copy of a Google Sheet to my desktop machine so I can load it later (do these work in Excel?) however I can't find any steps for saving a copy of it locally, only if it's a sheet I created. I'm using Mozilla Firefox, but can't see a "Save" button anywhere on the sheet. Should I be using another browser? I tried Chrome as well but again no Save button.

Thanks in advance smile

Is it a sheet that someone else has created and shared with you? The owner of a sheet (and other google docs) can prevent downloading and copying.
