I need to buy a Windows 11 license for a new build. It's been years since I've purchased a license.

What's the difference between a license bought at PB Tech and the ones found on TM? See link below.

I saw this listing you may be interested in: Microsoft Windows 11 PRO PROFESSIONAL https://www.trademe.co.nz/5619261423

Is the TM one legit? Why such a big price difference? I don't know much about OEM version but is this OEM? what is the difference between OEM version and 1 bought from PB? The TM ad doesn't mention whether its 64bit, does it matter? Do I need to download a very specific version when creating bootable media?

TIA

The Trademe link won't be legitimate for that price (though that doesn't mean it wont work). I expect they are volume license keys that may stop working at a future date. These won't be OEM keys.

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer. These keys are intended for use by someone who is building the computer and bundling it with Windows. Non OEM keys are for end users who already have a PC and want to move to Windows or upgrade to a newer version. There is no difference between OEM and non OEM keys used on Windows (apart from their allowed use).

Since you're building a new PC you'll want to look for a OEM version (as they will be cheaper than non OEM) from PBTech.
