Does anyone know the current timeframe for delivery for something sent by PBT yesterday? It was coming from PBT...ech, within Auckland. Hopefully they're not as slow as NZ Post?

I ordered some items from PB yesterday and they were shipped overnight and in Whangarei this morning, and handed over to rural delivery.

That's good news. Their tracker shows my items were out for delivery as of last night, so (hopefully) they get here today.

PBTech = store

PBT = Freight network

If you are referring to PBT, I had poor experiences with them, however that was a number of years ago.

PBT = it usually arrives eventually but you can never be sure. I've had things from 200km away take a week, I've had things from much further away arrive the next day.

Assuming you mean PB Tech I ordered a couple items which were picked up yesterday. Both are still processing at different depots in Auckland and showing as delivery expected on 26/10 (delivery is in Rodney)

Yes, I was playing with the acronyms :) ordered from PBTech (on the 19th), delivery by Peter Baker Transport (the other PBT). Was "in transit" as of yesterday, I was just curious if they're also backlogged like NZ Post are at the moment.

In Auckland ive been having good luck ordering in the mornings from PB and paying the $12 fee to have it delivered that same evening, last 5 packages have all arrived same evening.. very impressed as it only only $7 more than standard courier and that can be anywhere up to 5 days at the moment..

Ahhh I see :)  Well mine went through NZ Post - one is still processing at Rosedale but the other has just been delivered. So NZ Post aren't as backlogged as it may seem, but there appears to be some luck involved.

Many years ago I was a truck driver for PBT Couriers' Linehaul Division, the blue & white B-Trains & Truck & Trailer units with PBT Couriers plastered down the side.

You might see them on the road late at night - they transport courier freight to depots around the country.

For those wondering about delivery times, a parcel picked up in Auckland will generally leave Auckland that night and arrive in Christchurch the following day.

Busy periods like Christmas allow another day (if the trucks are full).

Speaking of PB Tech, SHIPPY21 still works. Free delivery for orders over $20.
