Thought I'd start a thread for a place to post various antivaxxer/5G/woo-woo/whatever posts that have ended up in other threads, this thread is for... well, I think the subject says it all.

For starters, a friend of mine was down in New Plymouth a few days ago and reported seeing a group of Maori protesters making a fuss about something. They were waving big flags with... Trump on them.

I mean, Trump of all people. A group of very much non-white people waving the flag of the icon of the American white power movement. The mind boggles.

Why limit it to anti-vax type stuff - this is a fun idea and could extend to anything and be a great laugh.

Does this count - Someone at a Christchurch intersection specifically removed the cones stopping their traverse through an uncontrolled intersection (due to works) to avoid a 30 second (no exaggeration) detour and then drove off leaving the cone barrier broken which lead to an crash causing injuries.

They're on camera though, so hopefully the police pay them a visit today.

The anti-vax trump people genuinely believe in their nonsense. The Mob adopted 'Sieg Heil' (and the British Bulldog topped with a German Stahlhelm) as a deliberate "up yours" to the authority/society of the time which was predominantly WW1 and WW2 veterans who hated all things German with a passion.

Supposedly intelligent people who give up their jobs/careers because they don't want that "poison in their bodies", or refuse to be told what to do by the government.

I fully expect to catch C19 sometime in the future and hope that the vaccine will give me the protection I need to come through with no lasting health issues.

hence why they go out of their way to make trouble & cause a fuss .

I don't think the OP needed fixing. It implied that Trump represents an ideology that is the most dangerous to the people carrying the flags, therefore the comment.
