Geez i can't believe people crash funerals. Somehow I dont think they are teenagers

Read the funeral home owner's comments. Amazing. Never knew funerals were public events.

I'd be pretty upset if a 'grim eater' came to my father's funeral. They should just present him with a trespass notice.

If you're hungry and in Christchurch, you could just go to Riccarton Mall and do what the radio guy (a local 'character' who walks around with a radio to his ear) did and just browse dirty plates for scraps, or if you like slightly spoiled fruit, there are bins here (just behind the car).

Heard this on the radio. My favourite bit was the last comment (not in the linked article), something like "You can't really blame him. Funeral food is very delicious."

This isn't a new phenomenon. People have been doing stuff like this for thousands of years. Society's attitude towards it may chaneg a little over time but it will still happen

Yeah, that's him. Saw him in Dick Smith once negotiating the purchasing of batteries (presumably for his radio). I've seen him around for at least 20 years.

?!? Club sandwiches FTW! Try to think of it not as bread filling, but as two complementary sandwiches on top of each other (with one of the slices of bread removed). You're actually getting less bread!

Man! All this talk makes me want to go to a funeral!

Actually, you have a point. I'll head off to the latest funeral to take measurements (and samples which I'll put in my Tupperware container). In Christchurch we have a funeral company with a large sign having their initials saying BLT outside their business, Always made me snigger when I went past, I think I'll find it funnier thanks to the grim eater.

He owns a funeral home but he can't stop the guy tresspassing. what
