Are there any online tools allowing wildcard search of .nz domain names?

Like search: *cpu.co.nz to find all registered names ending in cpu.co.nz?

most DNS servers specifically block the method which returns more than one host name (e.g. nslookup ls geekzone.co.nz). Its a security risk having all your host name easily accessible like that.

Interesting. I had not thought of using a DNS search.

This service does the trick for .com, .net, etc. I just need one that does it for .nz domains:

http://www.domaintools.com/buy/domain-search/?q=cpu&bc=25&bh=A&order=right&pool=A&filter=y&search_type=&rows=100&de_search=Search

Such a tool would probably put quite a bit of load on the NZ registries servers. There maybe such a tool if you google whois nz

I did a bit more looking but I have not yet found a service which does wildcard search for .nz domains.

Load would depend on the implementation.
