I know. It's amazing the number of apparently successful businesses whose comms departments are full of people for whom spelling and grammar are a foreign country...!

Cheques of small value (ie $31 for turning up for jury duty) that sit in a drawer until they're 6 months and a few days old.

When your flight waits for connecting passengers and one/some of them take much longer than the others to arrive pretending they have rushed to the plane but obviously just had a smoke, while a plane full of people wait for them.

teh teh teh teh teh teh teh teh teh

Why cant I type "the" correctly??

It's the word I most commonly have to go back and type again.

At least in Word I have a auto-correct set up, but here it drives me near insane.

Through endless repetition, after at least 20 years, I finally managed to get to be able to type without looking at the keys.

Unless I am using a different keyboard, or mine has shifted an inch or two to one side.

Then I get gibberish!

Ordering a bunch of stuff off ebay on the same day to build something, and have everything, bar one component, turn up within a week. The final, vital piece, being still in transit two weeks later. Admittedly still within the projected delivery window, but that is why it is only a little thing that is annoying me.

That;s why when Im buying things for a project on aliexpress I will get them all from the same seller, even if it means I end up paying a little more for things. What then annoys me is the "because of postal accumulation" we have sent some things differently and without tracking. FFS

The length of time that notifications hang around for on the phone annoys me. Worst is the volume control. Bump that picking up the phone and it covers all the top navigation of twitter/facebook which is what I want it for, have to wait for it to go away before I can use the phone. Can dismiss notification popups, but that also removes them from the pulldown thing so I forget about them.
