SepticSceptic:

Yep, that is true. Looked too much like albino black balls confectionery.

I found my last 2 packets in a 2$ shop.

Not really a problem now that you can't buy black balls either.... :(

The Warehouse when buying 1 x 19" TV on Red Alert special for $129 and $6.99 delivery.

But if you want 2 it is classed as OVERSIZE and costs $60.00 delivery for the order.

And they weigh about 1.5kg without packaging (Which is very small)

Have even spoken to them re this stupidity - but that is apparently their policy as of this week!

So watch the delivery charge carefully when ordering online.

Wonder if that is a result of me ordering 20 of the GT storage cubes and only paying $6 for delivery too many times ;)

Yeah... been bitten that way a couple of times on AliExpress. One item is free shipping, 2 is free, then suddenly at 3 (or 4 or 5) they add on a big chunk of shipping. And if you reduce your order quantity, it doesn't go back to being free shipping.

This week my pet annoyance is Asian women who clearly don't have a real drivers license, wandering around the road in a Remuera Tractor (SUV / 4x4 - but really shiney), never indicating and almost always in the wrong lane for their turn...at which point they just stop.....in the middle of the road.....still not indicating......and when every other car in the city has finally gone by......they turn. Maybe.

I had 4 of these in half an hour on Sunday morning in Greenlane / Mt. Wellington. All features present: never indicate under any circumstance, always in the wrong lane...and once the error is realised.....just.....stop. Don't move. Block EVERYTHING....

I'm not racist as far as I know.....or sexist. But the pattern is so consistent in my part of Auckland I may come close to appearing to be both, it happens so often.

How did you know they were "Asian" - did they show you their passports?

I don't think nationality is stated on the drivers licenses you must have checked when ascertaining that they were fake.

Just a minor point about gender - I guess that you've assumed that they were women from their appearance -  fraught with difficulties in how it's defined - probably best if you asked them to verify the gender that they most identify themselves as -  before attributing that to how they drive.

No problem defining gender AFAIC...!

I would add drivers who believe that road markings, road signs and traffic signals are all there merely as items of decoration with no functional purpose at all. Like the idiot driving the wrong way around Martinborough Square yesterday...or the bus that simply drove through a red light in Sydney the other week and nearly ran my wife over.

When an online purchase from overseas gets delivered quicker than something bought from an NZ based outfit.

New Zealanders, on average, have one testicle.

I find it  is more  often when someone is doing something dopey on the road around the city it is a nitwit with their cellphone lodged at their ear or trying to text whilst driving.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I could see through the window. It wasn't hard. As for the licenses, they drove LIKE they must be fake (or bought). Poetic license of my own there.

Anyway.....I posted in a grumpy moment.....having struck the same incompetent, selfish, behaviour several times in a short space of time. I'll get over it. I am over it.

The NZ-based outfit is probably drop-shipping it. :-)

Not in the cases I have had, came from some warehouse the other side of auckland, just took them 3 days to get around to actually putting a label on it and having the courier pick it up, then the weekend and 2 more days to arrive to my house.
