mdf:

"Faraday Defense Router Shield // WiFi Guard, WiFi Router Cover, EMF Guard, Superior Shielding Performance, Blocks up to 95% EMF RF Waves, Quality Build, Made in The USA."

Make sure you read the Q&A on Amazon for this product too, e.g. "Will this act as a viable substitute to Shungite?" (yes, of course!) and "does this need to be grounded for full protection?" (no).

In any case there's a much cheaper alternative that offers an astounding 100% protection from harmful signals from your router.

Installed Ubuntu on an old laptop (x200) with its usual Windows drive swapped out just because.  Sitting on my desk was a USB3->SATA cable so my curiosity made me shut the laptop down and try booting from the same drive over the cable.  Of course it did no problem.  Installed Steam and played Quake for 30 seconds.

So then I shutdown my desktop PC, plugged the Linux drive still connected to the cable into a USB3 dock on my desk and rebooted.  Surprised it actually booted.  Is this a new thing?  This certainly isn't a Live USB install. Fired up Steam again and installed+played TF2 for the lols.  The best part of this is that Steam saves all your keybindings so there was no setup required.

Taking my eldest son and his two mates to see Alien Weaponry on Saturday night.

Great to bookend COVID with the same band (they were the last band I saw live before lockdown and they are the first band I have seen live since)

Great gig, so good to see the kids' faces after the gig...they were stoked!

Kapa Haka Achievement awards at our kids school went to a boy and a girl. Neither of them Maori (one Pakeha boy and one Indian Girl). Fantastic.

We have watched the boy throughout the last 4 years. Always leads, knows the words, speaks well.

Congrats to your son.

No, it wasn't my son.

I was just impressed that in NZ we can have such multiculturalism embraced.

To get a call from my Doctor to tell me that my new drug treatment has been given special approval by Pharmac and will also be part funded by the drug company. Best Christmas present I could get and light has finally turned on at the end of the tunnel. This news made me cry as maybe I will get through this.
