Not a problem for us, probably because the 2L is large so I keep it horizontally in the bottom of the fridge. I think this helps prevent gas escaping through the top.

Coca Cola in 2L PET bottles goes flat really soon after you've first opened them and drunk some.

Thats why I get the 1.5s when on sale and ignore the sale on the 2.25s. Its too much for one sitting so it gets wasted.

No sympathy for the Bregreteers!

Now the food shelves of the 'Empire' are getting emptier and emptier and the most generous European extra sausages for UK that have been brazenly fought for are being eaten forever. The rest of us Europeans were already aware of this at the time - but who listens to those who are being agitated against? You have been unnecessarily fooled by your own politicians, not by the EU. How stupid is that? If you've run out of European scapegoats, try British scapegoats in the pub. And think about your expectations without a political will to move your own a.s - the Empire is gone forever (like our Emporers). That's why WE (Europeans) are really annoyed, then as now.

However, I feel sorry for all the sensible British people who were against Brexit. But that's the way it is: in for a penny, in for a pound - we use Euro. See how you can make the best of it.

What a laugh! All you’ve done is exchanged your “Emperors” with bureaucrats and career politicians based in Brussels*.

Nobody is saying that the EU is perfect. But apparently that is and was even less the case in the UK. It's all a question of position. If you know where you stand, you can be where you want. If you only ever see yourself on your own island, you shouldn't be surprised if the music takes place somewhere else. 😉

(see the comments below the video. *Incidentally, you are repeating exactly the same phrases that the Brexiteers and the media used to lull UK citizens to sleep - just on the other side of the world).

ASUS computers, the company. I've had to buy a new charging brick for one of my ASUS laptops. I take the charger model number off the faulty brick, find the same model online, order it, received the replacement with the courier this morning only to discover it's got a slightly different (larger) plug on the end that connects to the laptop!!!

Who in the hecks DUMB idea was it at ASUS to make charging bricks with different plugs on the end, and then give them exactly the same model number?!?!

Same with Microsoft. I'm happy with my Microsoft keyboard at work, so I bought the same model for home only to find that it's an "improved" one with a different layout (i.e. one of the keys removed).

It's not like you need "E" that often right?  ;-)

Is it the AI key that they replaced something with?

That's because they're badge-engineered, they just stick the Veon name on whatever's around that week.

It's a good way to get bargain-priced LGs.

Until they are something else again.

TBH I have found the kogan android TVs to be an acceptable level of cheap crap, whereas the veons seem to be just a little worse even tho some of them look like doppelgangers.

Still find it hilarious that the warehouse were selling chromecasts when their own badge engineered TVs were not in the IR code list for the remote. Would have thought they would have made adding those a prerequisite before BUNDLING a chromecast with at TV back when their smart offering was inadequate.

I'm trying to buy something from the Farmers website. Every f***ing page has this huge pop-up, which activates some time after the page loads, and I start scrolling.

I've had it close it at least 10 times,

I'm shopping elsewhere!

There's a nice dog park in Plimmerton with three separate fences for large, small and other dogs that must be on their own.

We have two small dogs and like going there for some activity.

Recently, there was a middle-sized dog in the small dogs area. She was friendly and ok, until she snapped for no good reason and started towering over other dogs. I had to physically move her from being on top of one of our dogs, holding her by the collar.

The owner, an older woman, came to collect the dog and apologised "Oh, so sorry. She's in heat and I can't control her".

Why the fark do you bring your dog to the park if you can't control her during this time?

A few weeks later we were leaving the same area, when a large, unleashed German shepherd came in our direction. Not in a threatening way but you never know.

The owner, another older woman, was ten metres behind and apologised "Oh, so sorry. The dog is too strong, so I can't hold her on the leash."

Again, why the fark do you bring your dog to the park if you are not strong enough to keep it on a leash until inside the run?

People are farking stupid.
