Rikkitic:
30 days today and still waiting for my book from UK. Not a word about its status, other than it had been 'dispatched'.
Is it a tracked item?
Apparently not.
Plesse igmore amd axxept applogies in adbance fir anu typos
If it gives you any comfort, you aren't alone. I and every person that I have talked to about this have numerous untracked items from the UK, US, and Europe that are nowhere in sight despite having been sent well over a month ago.
Don't know if this list is anything to go by, but Norway Post seem unable to ship to New Zealand.. or maybe they just forgot NZ exists: https://www.posten.no/en/customer-service/country-list-mail-updated
I subscribe to Tim Wendelboe coffee and my April sub never arrived, usually gets here in ~10 days.
CokemonZ: 5kg of Mandarins turned up - shipped on the 5th.
Not ideal, but in suprisingly good nick considering. 70% still ok.
FINALLY got my item this morning, so much for the redirection.

Just checked...
Once again, The Warehouse have shipped an incomplete order, yet supposedly everything was in stock!
(I see a pattern here, NL do that too. Sell things they don't have! - I finally cancelled my last order with them after finally getting an admission that they didn't have stock of the item)
That really pisses me off. I ordered something from NL, it showed my local branch had it in stock and available for click & collect. After I ordered it, it said available 20-27 May. Tried to cancel it 3 days ago, still waiting for response. There were other stores which had it cheaper but I ordered from NL only so that I could go there and collect it the next day.
MikeB4:I feel for the courier divers right now.

The practice of making employees"independent contractors" is a disgrace. It's done solely for the purpose of removing their employment rights.
It has been this case for many many years, when my brother used to do couriering work. I don't think couriers do it for too long before moving to other jobs as it is just too hard for many. Not unless you work your way up in the organisations. I know someone who has done this to the top, but had to start out doing delivery.
Considering we now have a labour government, I am surprised they haven't made moves to change things.

Geektastic:
I do not know who delivers Australia Post items here in NZ, but I have one that has been in Auckland now doing nothing since Tuesday last week at 0709 hrs!
Australia Post is IMHO a very lethargic organisation, exhibiting the worst aspects of both a government bureaucracy and a private-sector monopoly. I have several family members living there and others in the UK, France and the USA and it's noticeable that letters and parcels to and from Australia take longer to arrive. [OK, except France in July & August, nothing moves there then!]
I have a package that's "Cleared and awaiting international departure |SYDNEY NSW | Date & time Thu 7 May • 1:28am"
I know there's restricted flights a.t.m., but you'd think there might be one in four days from Sydney to Auckland. Sigh
Have you had any progress with your package from Australia? I have one showing international departure on the 12th May - I understand and expect delays, especially with actual delivery but I wasn't expecting to have a long delay in it arriving here. I just want to have an idea of how long people are experiencing through the various stages. I wonder if they have arrived in the country but are sitting in a container until they can get to even scanning them as received? When I looked on the Australian Post site it is quoting 10-15 days for standard to NZ - I don't know how updated and accurate this is considering our delivery situation.
