htpc upgrade to Amd A4-5300 found it really is underated and also adding Home server 2011 with stablebit drivepool. excellent

the htc one. just camera could be better but otherwise really great phone

the last I was amazed with the Samsung Ativ PC windows 8 tablet. really great unit

HTPC Intel Pentium G3258 cpu, Gigabyte H97n-wifi motherboard, , 8GB DDR3 ram, onboard graphics. Hauppuage HVR 5500 tuner, Silverstone LC16M case, Windows 10 pro 64 bit using Nextpvr and Kodi

Lots of new gadgets this year. But the best is my HTC One.

For me next year is probably going to be the year of the smart watch.

Probably the S4, very versatile, fast, and quite robust.

The paperwhite I got for Christmas last year, that's still fantastic. I haven't wanted to read a paper book since I got it, though I did try one and found it annoying.

I had three different kindles including one Kindle Fire HD 8.9; have to admist I use them less by the day as I realize I've been using other devices including ipad to read my kindle books...

Kindle is better for reading, no competition at all. It's lighter, easier to see in bright light, can go very dim for nighttime reading, uses very little battery (just the light and page turns). I got one after I went to Samoa with my fiance, I ran out of books after a few days and tried to read on my tablet. The reflections in the tropics were awful, wifi was too slow to download more books, it was heavy, needed charging, etc. I bought a kindle as soon as I got back and have used it ever since. I got my Mum one for her birthday as well, she loves it.
