msukiwi:

Someone please tell Stuff that it isn't morning anymore! (Is it really a headline!)

It's also not December. It's telling us there will be a morning trivia challenge on December 12, which is probably true.

SirHumphreyAppleby:

I'm not a fan of censoring my speech or comments and will quite happily used 'naughty' words when appropriate, but I cannot see how the expression "pissed off" is appropriate in a headline from a major newspaper if it's not a direct quote.

There must've been a few complaints along similar lines...

100%

That there is a delay can occupy the last sentence of the article, as its the least important issue

Just needs to sort the cap out... :-)

Having said that, back in a past life the Warehouse Manager talked to me about the applicants for a warehouse assistant job. One guy was an ex crim . "I just want a chance" John took him on. An excellent employee.

A trip to Paris for $15? I probably wouldn't have any regrets either. A short Ryan Air flight and I'd be where I actually wanted to go.

Actual figure was $15k.

From today's 5-minute quiz in The Post (or whatever the Wellington newspaper is called this week).

It appears that New York is a nation now.

Some would say it is an abomi-nation 😁

If you do opt to give him a chance and offer him a job don't expect him to turn up until at least 2027.

RNZ: "New interactive map launched". Extols the virtues of this new map. Doesn't bother to link to it or otherwise tell you how to access it.
