Handsomedan:

Just started watching season 1 of Slow Horses

I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I am.

It is a great show.

I see Mythic Quest is coming back next week. I really enjoyed the previous series.

I was really disappointed to see that the second season of Dick Turpin has been axed.
Apparently Noel Fielding failed to show up to work, so part way through production, it got canned.

Been watching, and looking forward each week to, a couple of shows recently

Severance Season 2 - has picked up where the previous series ended, absolutely outstanding viewing. If you have been living under a rock and are unfamiliar with it, do yourself a favour and check it out. 10/10.

Paradise Season 1 - this has been unexpectedly good, produced by Dan Fogelman it is centred around a whodunnit in a post-apocalyptic world. Probably a poor analogy but a little bit like Silo with far better living conditions (and 80's soundtrack). 9/10.

We really have been spoilt for quality TV in recent times, you stack shows like the above along things like Slow Horses, The Bear and Shogun, and it feels like the industry is in good health currently.

but you have also found the problem of Quality TV , how many streaming sites do you have to subscribe to  watch everything . it can get really expensive.

Just finished the 3rd season of From - all seasons currently on TVNZ+.

There's a bit of horror in it, but not overdone, more of a mystery/supernatural/drama. Centres on a US village that you cannot leave once you arrive. Lots of twists and turns that keep you engaged and thinking.

How unhinged is this season? As it always is.

There are definitely very few people that apply for this show in the hope of love. Most are after an Onlyf@ns income.

We enjoyed season two of The Diplomat.  It was tense, exciting, and kept us guessing, but I totally didn't see its ending coming.  That has to be one of the best plot twists of all time.

I have just watched the first episode and I loved Eliot and Lauren's wedding.

"Lauren's sister Tamara is on the warpath after failing to receive a pescatarian meal". Do you think she got any of the "compensation" that she demanded from the producers?

I swear I can actually feel my brain cells rotting while I'm watching this rubbish! 😂

Running Point - Netflix

Interesting premise, amusing more than laugh out loud funny, mostly, but I'll keep watching.

It's really well cast.

Where are all the laugh out loud sitcoms these days? Most stuff is amusing maybe, but not like the good old days, where stuff was laugh out loud funny, multiple times an episode.

I'm not sure where it's on, but find it and watch it.

It's brilliant.

or overly forced.  That George and Mandy (spinoff of young Sheldon) or shifting gears (Tim Allen and Kat Dennings)
