Small thing, I know. But if you are a journalist and write for a living... On Stuff:
"But the photo was later found screwed up, it’s frame smashed, near his abandoned vehicle near Lake Taupo in 2002."

Reuters - Pakistan says it has launched military offensive against India
ISLAMABAD/NEW DELHI, May 10 - Pakistan said it launched a military operation against India early on Saturday, targeting multiple bases including a missile storage site in northern India as the neighbours extended their worst fighting in nearly three decades. ...
India's defence and foreign ministries did not immediately respond to a request for comment outside regular business hours.
Sideface
"Wellington Council cops as after damaged car sits in carpark for week"
What does that even mean?!
The current heading on RNZ is "cops flak after". No idea whether that has been corrected.
Yeah, it's been fixed. I originally read "cops" as "police" and was baffled!
I'm sure this one's deliberate rather than dumb, but...
Those of you who watched Eurovision yesterday will likely have noticed when a camera failed. It turns out that it was a software crash. The Sun chose to report this as "chaos as camera crashes off stage during live performance"!
I wonder how much of the $11m will go as deferred council rates?
I may be a bit out of the loop here (I haven't looked at the news over the past few days) but RNZ is talking about people protesting against the Pay Equity Bill, written like that, in title case. As far as I can tell, there's no such thing. There's an Equal Pay Amendment Bill, and that's presumably what they're protesting, but nowhere does RNZ actually state that.
Come on folks. It's just a word missing in there:

The Government its savings in the same place Stuff its words.

Your team losing is always a possibility. You shouldn't let it ruin your day.
Perhaps for the small annoying things thread but... news websites with a front page link to a story that doesn't accurately match. It is a form of dishonest clickbait.
Case in point todays Herald has on the front page a link "Hit Amazon series with Kiwi lead axed after three seasons". Clicking through (more fool me) the true story is revealed that "Despite a dramatic improvement in the show‘s ratings, the show‘s third season had its poorest performance yet on the Nielsen‘s Top 10 charts, which reflects US viewership and indicates a show‘s overall popularity."
Not really a hit anymore is it?
From the Herald:
“Boy impaled on metal post after Auckland FC loss, AT “really disappointed”
Even I can’t believe they went with that as a headline.

Behodar:
Serious crash in Bay of Plenty closes part of State Highway One
At no point does SH1 enter the Bay of Plenty.
A few months later, let's do it again!
Person critically injured in crash, State Highway 5 closed in Bay of Plenty
The listed places (Te Haroto and Pohokura) are in Hawke's Bay, not the Bay of Plenty.
