Technically this isn't software design, but a "printable" PDF map for an event has white text on a purple background.
Edit: I should point out that the map itself is a minority of the page. Most of it is text.
Back in the land of Microsoft.
Visual Studio: "Your WebView2 component is out of date. Please download the latest from here."
The downloaded installer: "This component is already installed."
Trying out something different this time: Linux (specifically Raspberry Pi OS).
"Updates are available"
"Updates are installing"
"System is now up to date"
Nothing wrong there... except that during the update process it apparently unloaded the USB driver or similar, and I had to cut the power to get the mouse and keyboard back.

Also in the land of Microsoft... Azure Storage Explorer.
"The version of Storage Explorer you are using is currently out of support. It is recommended that you update to the latest version."
Help -> Check for Updates -> "There is no update available."
Mine (version 1.35) says it'll leave support in 53 days. Like yours, it says there is no update available.
It looks like the latest is 1.39.1 so it seems that the updater is broken.
Visual Studio can be so mind-meltingly stupid sometimes.
I want some <b>Bold text</b>. Autocorrect decides that I want <b>Bold text</AlreadySubmitted>.

Punched cards never had bold text :)

1) My Subaru has face recognition. Sometimes it fails. You can manually repeat it by going through the menu until you arrive at a choice labelled “Repeat Facial Scan?”
Press that to get “Do you wish to repeat the facial scan? Yes/No”
Why the second question?!
2) Was opening an account with a large international courier. It had drop down auto lists for your address as you type.
Found ours and entered it.
Box goes red. Message appears “PO Box address not permitted”
Had I entered a PO Box address? No. I’d entered a physical address. I can’t change the fact that your computer doesn’t understand that!

Windows 11 Settings > Apps > Startup. "Apps can be configured to start when you log in."
As far as I can tell, this window does not allow you to configure an app to start when you log in. You can stop an app from starting when you log in, and you can re-enable an app once you've stopped it, but you can't tell one to start.
Bonus points for saying "log in" here, but "sign in" on the actual screen where you do it.
Google Sheets asking to convert everything to a table. Do they not understand how spreadsheets work? Everything is a table.
Not having used Google sheets, I suspect they mean data table. Excel does something similar.

Yes, most likely data table. But I would much prefer if it didn't assume that everything is one.
Excel doesn't seem to default to doing so on every sheet, all the time. Though I am still using Office 2010 at home, also haven't noticed it on O365 at work.
It's a recent "feature" that has just been added.
Data tables in Excel have been there for quite a few years now (2016 and later). You’ll find it under the data tab along with of the power query stuff.

Yes, but there's a significant difference between a function that is available (and has been pretty much forever) and the software shoving it in your face on every sheet of every workbook just because there's some data on the sheet. Open a workbook "convert this to a table". No thanks. If I wanted to make it into a data table, I would have.
