MNissen:

Forum Moderator/s,  it is with the greatest humility that I humbly request you delete, hide, remove, incinerate, or otherwise, obliterate my account here.

To have to be worried that Facebook might be upset over my use of the term Farcebook, is not something I want hanging over me like the Sword of Damocles.

I would think that the few posts I've made, will not be missed.

Cheers

M.

Obviously "M" doesn't understand rules and thinks these are beneath his/her person.

We are not worried about Facebook. We are worried about civility.

No, we won't miss people who do not understand how to live in a civil society.

The latest BS announcement of NZP's website doesn't mention old parcels that they still haven't delivered. My wife still has one package that they are simply doing nothing with and I have a number of untracked items from overseas that are nowhere to be found. It's incredible how NZP has been allowed to get away with this.

I sold a router here on Geekzone, two days ago. Posted yesterday from Johnsonville Post Shop and it was delivered today in Hamilton.

On the other hand I ordered something from an Auckland store. It was shipped on the 21st of May and arrived here on the 4th June. Thanks for the two weeks, PBT.

Looks like they are keeping their promise (NZ Post / CourierPost) so far, have ordered several things from across the country and suppliers are back to using them for the whole haul deliveries (for me even if someone sends via NZ Couriers, PBT, etc, it goes to a rural drop and then gets delivered by CourierPost despite not actually living in a rural area) and these deliveries are arriving promptly, thankfully.

Still have an international item that has last been updated 5th May as "handed over to airline" after a month sitting at "Departure from country of origin. Your item is in transit to New Zealand"which almost seems  backwards to me, or at least the words they have chosen do... I guess departing the country can still mean it's sitting in the facilities of that country even though reading this I'd think departing actually meant on the plane departing

Still no update on my AliExpress orders from Feb lmao.

At this point I'm almost certainly going to have to write it off and re-order but I'm not confident a replacement one would actually get here either.

Pretty much this. FUG breach, didn't like receiving a warning and asked to have account removed.

Finally received my international post this morning 5th June looked out the window and saw NZ Post putting the parcel in the letterbox this parcel has been  held up since 25th March 2020 when received at the CHICAGO IL INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER and saying in transit so not too sure which end it was delayed USA or NZ but now a happy chappie

Also received a parcel posted from Auckland which has taken 3 days to arrive in Wellington so all good 👍

Whereas my purchase from a GZer in Chch was sent to the local depot, Kaiwharawhara the day after sending and has been there over 1 week now.

Today the tracking system 'is down' so I can't even check that it is still sitting there having a nice time.

Then there's missing cards from overseas and multiple items from aliexpress (jan/feb/march) that have taken so long I've had to open disputes for a refund.

Seems the luck of the draw comes into play.

Possible. I just had an item sent from Taiwan yesterday for a review. Let's see how long does it take.

There's no rhyme or reason to NZP's delivery performance. I sold a game on GPForums to someone in Wellington and after dropping it off at a NZP shop yesterday just before 4PM, it has been delivered as of this morning. It was one of these "postage paid" bags that I paid an extra $1.50 for tracking on, so I am assuming that they don't even operate to courier standards of delivery times.

Good to know, I have one that left just out out Chicago on the 22 April, checked into the Chicago Dist Centre on the 19 May, left the Chicago Dist Centre on the 19 May and nothing since.

It looks like CourierPost is improving but Aramex has gone from bad to worse.

This week, I had two parcels sent from Auck to Wlg. One was sent on Weds and one was sent on Thurs and both arrived today. The one which was sent on Weds was actually with the Courier for delivery on Thurs but Courier did not make it and it was back at the depot and it got delivered today. This is pretty good performance considering the circumstances.

In comparison, During Level 4, Aramex took 4 days to get an item from Auckland to Wlg (item was sent on Tues and arrived on Fri). During Level 2, an item was sent on the 27-May and I am still waiting on it. This is disappointing.
