Haha,
Longest flight evarrrrr

I dunno what happened to my boy's game, but I got a refund from the seller in the end. Now to find another copy online - and I'm going to hope like hell they use track-and-trace.
Seven packages to and from our home and also relating to my work -- couriers used include New Zealand Couriers, NZP (lol), PBT, and Castle Parcels. All were intra-Auckland or Auckland to a main town. Everyone else delivered overnight. NZP managed 1/3: one order from Mightyape (The Last of Us 2 that my ER doctor wife really wanted to play over the weekend) didn't get here on time; another game for her sister's birthday took 3 working days.
How NZP continues to get away with this is beyond me. I am now going out to buy TLoU2 standard edition from somewhere so my wife can play and then take a loss to sell it second hand. Thanks, NZP.
She wanted the Special Edition (super, super Ellie fan we are talking about here) and that was only available from MA.
Had a package picked up in Chicago April 5, marked as ‘in-transit’ by USPS on April 25. Listed by NZ Post as ‘in processing depot, Chicago’ since then (or similar words). Raised a case with NZ Post June 15, they responded June 16 that the package had not been received in NZ as yet. Delivered to my address June 18.
Status just now with NZ Post is ‘processing by airline’ (or similar words).
For extra lols NZP is still showing no signs of delivering my wife’s game. It was sent on Thursday. Hasn’t even been scanned at the depot yet. Worse than useless.
I have a few small items that, according to tracking have apparently been in the country for over 6 weeks now, but with no movement. Is there any real point in calling NZ Post about these? I'm guessing they're somewhere in a large pile sitting at the back of a warehouse somewhere.
I sent a parcel to a Hamilton city address.
It sat with status "with courier for delivery in Hamilton East" from 15/6/2020 06:02 until 19/6/2020 14:56.
Four and a half days for the courier to actually deliver it.
😠

I bought from them, they gave me Courier post tracking number. Turns out they shipped the item through Mainfreight so the tracking number did not work.. surprise surprise.. by the time they responded to my email the item had been delivered..
My bike lights turned up after months of transit.
Massive box. Tiny lights.
No wonder it took a long time - it was probably stuck in the pipe. /s
