And while I appreciate them doing this, most also sign you up to their mailing list at the same time without telling you of the fact. Which itself is illegal. But it also removes any trust I have of the company to keep my information private.

I never had this problem. I only ever received the invoice. Never received any unsolicited email from them.

Yes on 2 occasions, so I'm reluctant to do it. Both companies dismissed it as not a big deal.

So don't muddle the discussion. The invoice email service offered by Noel Leemings was explicitly mentioned in this [SMILE] thread and you rubbished it, when in fact your complaint doesn't even relate to Noel Leeming.
