go into BK and get told that they are not cooking meat products  , short visit.

I went to a KFC once and they'd run out of chicken. Couldn't believe it then, still can't quite wrap my head around it now.

If I ever start a cherry picker company, I'm going to put a mute button on the thing. There is some construction at work and I've been subjected to "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP" for about 15 minutes now.

DarthKermit:

Go to post a comment on YouTube and it says 'Unknown error'

That's actually bizarre. How can the error be unknown? Sure, the cause can be unknown, but the error itself must be known, otherwise how do you know that there's an error?

I can take constant regular noise; the unpredictable gets to me though. As a yoof, I lived opposite a Church. Sunday morning, 10 am, when I was endeavouring to sleep off what I am sure where large amounts of liquid enjoyment (and not at all about two beers), the Church bell would start clanging. Ding ding ding. Pause. Ding. Long Pause. Ding ding ding ding. Very long pause surely they've finished no- Ding ding ding ding ding!

You can't disable that beeping. It's a health and safety requirement, the fines would be unbelieveable if you ever got caught. Think yourself fortunate it was only 15 minutes. We had about 5 months of it when the bunnings opposite us, was being built.

Except that those Beepers are normally loud enough to be classed as a noise hazard. And the HSE act requires that you eliminate hazards as the first option.

So if you don't either disable that beeper, or make it a lot quieter. You are not complying with the HSE act.

Do you have evidence to support that they are loud enough to breech H&S standards? They have to be loud enough so that people with ear protection can still hear them.

Aredwood: A cyclist almost crashing into me in central Auckland. They rode through a red light, and I was crossing the road on the green pedestrian crossing signal. They were riding in a separated cycleway with kerbs either side, and they looked to be going too fast to be able to stop in time. So they would have been unable to avoid an accident if I hadnt seen them and taken measures to avoid them.

Something like this happened to me in Welly - except the cyclist actually hit me.

Nearest KFC closes at 11pm, but often by 10:15pm you get told they have run out of wings. I'm more of the opinion that they just ca't be bothered cooking more at that time.

The current state of SH1 between Taihape (south of) and Turangi. It's one giant patch-up job, with multiple patches of asphalt on top of chip seal and significant stretches of chip-seal with the chips all ripped off. I appreciate that it's probably hard to keep on top of things during winter, but I can honestly say it's the worst I've ever seen it.

Petrol companies' price signs.   For example the price for Unleaded 91 is shown as 240.9 instead of placing the decimal point where it should be 2.409 All the petrol companies do this & it's ridiculous.  They only do this so as to create a false impression of competition when they change the 3rd decimal place.

Does this annoy you?
