Dumb design. Where do I start? We have an expensive Bosch gas stovetop. Cleaning food spills and, especially, grease out of all the bits and bobs of that unnecessarily intricate thing is like extracting teeth. Even removing encrusted remains from the stainless steel without scratching it is hopeless. Whoever created it obviously didn’t have to clean the damned thing. It looks nice and shiny in the shop. I guess that’s all they care about. So much for German design.
And why do New Zealand kitchen and bathroom sinks, basins, bathtubs, etc. all come without a safety overflow, as is common in other countries like the USA? Let’s just let it all spill out onto the floor instead. Or have things improved with newer models? Somehow I doubt it.
People who design this kind of thing ought to be made to use it for six months before it is released onto the public. I’m sure that would improve things considerably.
