Sorry I had to
Geektastic: Games you can't skip bits you find too hard and which then ruin the whole thing because you can't progress.
I paid. If I want to skip bits, why shouldn't I be able to?
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Kinda related to this.
When you get stuck at a boss battle, but you can't skip the 5 minute video sequence which is the intro to said boss battle and have to watch it again.
Every. Single. Time.
So many places this could go. It is environmental, but I will put it here because it really annoys me.
I believe some flying is justifiable in spite of the environmental burden because the world would simply stop functioning without it. But a lot really is not. I get very annoyed when I read things like 'people demand it' or something similar. I for one definitely do not demand it. I missed the great days of travel by tramp steamer and I have never got over that. I would love to be able to go places by boat, except it is nearly impossible. Cruises are overpriced and just go in circles. Actually using sea transport to get somewhere is practically extinct. I don't understand that. Why is everyone always in such a damned hurry? The journey should be part of the adventure. I would certainly choose travel by sea over travel by air if it was available, but it isn't. So don't go telling me what I 'demand'. If I fly, it is only because I am not given the choice and that really annoys me.

Final Fantasy X. Yunalesca. At one point I could pretty much quote her entire monologue.

People who dawdle on a motorway on-ramp at 60kph rather than getting up to the same speed as those on the motorway.
Closely followed by those who slow down to 80kph on the motorway rather than slowing down on the off-ramp when exiting.

Have never done it or even looked into properly - but I understand that many container ships take a very limited number of passengers for a fare. There’s no special arrangements for the passengers except for maybe a small common lounge. You eat with the officers and they may have TV or movies in the wardroom.
Not too different from the tramp steamer concept.
It may well exist but it never gets advertised or otherwise publicised as far as I know. I will look into it.

Highly recommended - to help pass the time, you get great views for whale-watching from the bridge.

There are places other than the Southern Ocean, you know.

It does exist. These are the first two hits I found on google. There are thousands more:

It certainly is possible and available and you do have a choice - so now I guess it’s ‘money and mouth’ time. 😀

I've just had my ~annual foray into Linux to see whether it's usable yet. Nope. I installed the PC manufacturer's recommended distribution with default settings. On first boot it asked whether it could check for updates. I said yes. It sat there for about 30 minutes only to fail with an "cannot extract file" error, and suggested that I reboot and try again. It no longer boots; the screen just stays completely black. Off to a stellar start there!

I have used Linux on all my machines (5) for the last few years with no significant issues. Any minor issues have been quick and easy to solve, unlike those I encountered with Win10. What model of PC are you trying to install it on, and what is the recommended distribution?
