There was a 'take a photo of your home office' thing in our staff newsletter. Some of the photos were sensible, but a number of them had laptops sitting outside on a deck table, often with the screen off... not much work being done! But the 'winner' was probably the laptop with lid closed and cat asleep on it!

Just dealing with one of those escalted to me because it hasn't been actioned. All it says is "I can't connect". I'm guessing company laptop, but to what? Error message? How are you attempting this? 🤬

We never had them, I just don't see the need. Being a parent does not make one disabled.

Be grateful for them - kids have a habit of just flinging their car door open and dinging yours. Better to have them isolated.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I see postal and courier services are essential and still operating, but what will happen with deliveries to businesses?

One of our premises is staffed (essential service etc) 24/7 so the courier can be let in.

At the other, the courier has a key and can drop freight in a safe place.

What about yours?

Locked up. Everyone in our Wellington office is working from home, including those providing essential services. The office is closed. I doubt the courier has an access card.
