Yes please... I'd like it because I have nothing at the moment ... nada, zilchh, squat ... does that sound pathetic enough? Cry

My employee broke the first tablet I gave him when I lent it to him for his tramping trip on mount Sinai:

(@pepperjack, is that you?)

Luckily insurance covered a replacement, but he complains that even the new one feels like he's lugging around a ton of bricks. He also complains that it doesn't have enough memory - maybe true, but I tell him to write really small - he then complains it's hard when you have fat chisels.

Please put my employee out of his misery and give me a shiny new Acer Iconia A500 that I can give to him.  Besides, if you believe that goon in the US claiming to know me, nobody else is going to be around after Saturday to give it to anyway.

Cheers,
God

Oh, I call BS -- you can tell that's a fake tablet from the Roman numerals on it. Seriously, God, just because the world's going to end tomorrow doesn't mean I'm suddenly stupid!

What do I have now, I have thin air :-) A humble desktop PC in the corner, no tablets. Have been eyeing up the Acer Iconia for awhile but when one is on a budget it's something thats out of my reach at this point.

Maybe a deffered HP through Harvy Normans is in my future... One can dream :-)

I've played with afew tablets, and one would fit in for work for photos and note taking. Would make my life easier thats for sure instead of carrying around my works brick from 2000 :-)

I'd love to win one of these because I've never in my life tried Android (I purchased an Android HTC phone and it didn't even boot), and I currently use a HTC Apache Windows Mobile 5 phone with a crack in the screen and no internet connectivity (That fact curtasy of Telecom).

Currently don't have any tablet, (unless a google touch phone counts!), would love to use as something to browse the internet, emails, games on the go :D

Here's a photo of my tablet, well it's actually my daughter's but she lets me borrow it some times. Unfortunately I can't use it at the moment as the screen appears to be frozen and she won't let me re-boot.... Bless! ;-)

I'd like a tablet. Currently I'm using a old Toshiba TE2100 laptop as my wife broke her Dell core 2 duo laptop, so, somehow she ended up with my new laptop leving me with the old pentium 4 one. If I won this one... well, my wife would end up with a tablet to browse with, and, I could get my laptop back.

Would love to win this! I am tethering less and browsing more on my mobile, but at a less than ideal resolution. A tablet would be nice...

I would love a tablet

My only experience with them is that I was allowed to touch an Ipad once.  I currently have a baby Android phone and if I squint in just the right way I can even read a book on it.

Photo of Samsung Galaxy 550 i5503T.My Galaxy 5 or mini me

A tablet can do cool things like tethering which I havent had anything to do with since I last had a rusk and a drop of whiskey on my gums ..... oopps think that was actually teething.

As you can see I am in desperate need of updating with new  technological gadgets so I can twot/tweet faceplant or is that Facebook and store photos of the new craze thingy called planking. I may even get to watch Rebecca Black's friday song on YouTube so I can see what all the fuss is about.

I promise not to use it for poking, farmville, following Charlie Sheens' winning tweets or fill it up with Justin Bieber or Jonas Brothers music videos/songs.

I dont own a tablet, would love 1 to be more mobile but I do have a Memory Pill
memory pill
the Acer Iconia A500 tablet has a nice sleek look to it (looks important to us girls)

It would slip inside my handbag nicely when on the run ...
please upgrade me from a pill to tablet
