What I didn't get a clear picture of when choosing to send it through, was that the shipping cost from youshop was volume based.
volume "weight" takes precedence over actual weight
shipping smart phone, ssd etc is not bad
shipping shoes, pillows etc can be really bad
The site makes a big deal on weight, but obviously volume is going to come into the equation also.
They ended up repacking it for me, so I saved around $30, but they shouldn't have had to if Amazon packaged things intelligently.
Kthulhu42: I was really pleased with their service, I ended up paying a hell of a lot for an amazon parcel though, because Amazon doesn't seem to understand that not everyone wants a box that is double the size of their items. bonkas: I just had 1 of my parcels arrive at youshop.
I would expect the contents to be very very small (A few capacitors) which came to $22.50 NZD.
With the Discount code above I received 50% off.
This package was going to cost $50NZD to send straight here so I got a good deal.
What small capacitors can you only get in the USA?
