shonofear:
Kopkiwi: That 50% off code was pretty retarded. Only valid for a week. Nothing even gets there that quick.

ahh really ...
i was hoping to use that code next week.
well i contacted support and they have put in a request to have the parcel opened and 1 item sent to NZ and the rest returned to sender.
i told them that i didnt have the coin to pay for postage plus potential import costs.

If they return stuff, don't you have to pay 50% of the cost of the shipping to NZ?

Received my package, so it all worked fine for me this first time around.

Observations quickly were:
The estimated arrival dates changed throughout, initially very long estimates and then much quicker once it got going.  Nothing wrong with this, just saying what happened to us.
Good's arrived packaged fine, but that was from the initial seller really.
50% off voucher really made this the deal for us.

Thoughts moving forward are simply that without the 50% off offer I may have just opted for the more expensive shipping that was on offer, as it's a total gamble as to what size your packaging will be from the initial seller.
However, if that seller won't ship outside the US then you've got not other option, and at least there is an option now.

So, worked fine for me this time, no complaints.

Have just received my second parcel. Both arrived in NZ within 7 days and 1-3 days to get to my address.

Awesome service.

I see they had to close the site down yesterday: http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/industries/10252019/Privacy-flaw-hits-YouShop-site

Seems to be up now, though I had to sign in a different way to last time I used it.

Why do customs issue a Notice Number and not have the tax costs worked out at the same time? I got a notification saying to call to obtain import costs, but they haven't been worked out yet.

Also, why do they have to send out a letter, why not update the tracking details with "import charges to apply"

Received just now.

We wanted to let you know about a privacy issue that has been reported by a YouShop customer. It appears that this user was able to see some limited account information in another YouShop user’s account after logging into the site.

We have taken immediate steps to further encrypt and protect your account information and our techies are working round the clock to ensure the problem is completely eliminated but as an added precaution we are temporarily restricting login access to the New Zealand Post online account until further notice.

We are confident the issue is restricted to a very small number of cases and no financial information has been divulged.

Please rest assured that any parcels you have in transit will be processed and delivered to you as normal and we are doing everything we can to get the login access to our site back up and running again as soon as possible.

50% discount (comeback50) -$18.12
Total cost for this parcel $18.13

Second:

Delivery cost
International postage $36.25
Discount for multiple parcels -$6.00
50% discount (comeback50) -$15.12

Total cost for this parcel $15.13

I thought that Comeback50 coupon was only valid for one parcel only? Or was yours repackaged into one?

Got my Nvidia Shield via YouShop. Having used shipito for some time I can say that they are faster, especially given they have a Fedex shipping option, but for things where I don't want the goods ASAP would be happy to use YouShop again.

Oh, and the Shield is quite an awesome piece of kit. When connected to the TV it goes into console mode and increases the output resolution to 1080p, so it's filling in as the households streaming device for the TV for Netflix and so forth, will do the job nicely until Google TV comes along and I can decide if I want to go with that or not. Hadn't played Portal before, so that was awesome, and now replaying Half Life 2 for the first time in more than a decade...

Yep, I asked NZ Post and they gave me the coupon Howabout50 til the end of this month. Hopefully that is not a one off coupon!

Sure sure about one package use. I (on purpose) had two packages turn up about the same time.  When I checked out I got the 50% discount AND the multi parcel discount... So, I guess the code was only used once.

I got an email on Saturday advising that a parcel has arrived.
I was so happy I was able to log into the website I forgot to check if any of the mentioned coupons could be used on my account. Oh well, always next time

Do people just ask on Twitter for a coupon and hope to get?

My Comeback 50% code was applied to all parcels in the order too, I was surprised.
