DarthKermit: I for one won't get fooled again by the flu jab.![]()
My generation are a bit more sensible.

Only fuzzy-brained Anglo types use the archaic am/pm designations anyway. The advanced nations of the world do not have to re-use the same numbers because they can't count past 12. They know how to tell time the grown-up way, with the 24 hours god intended. There can be no mistaking 0600 hours with 1800, even at the South Pole.
Seeing a business list their hours as 10-22 seems nice and succinct.

I'm going to nominate the Wellington Wairarapa train.
One station (Maymorn, I think) has a short platform. They always announce that if you intend alighting there, you need to be at either the "North end" or the "South end" of the train depending on travel direction.
Do they think people carry a compass and habitually determine which way a train is pointing?
What is wrong with "front of the train" or "back of the train" for heavens sake?!

Damn - that reminds me.
Being caught talking to myself. Not long conversations - and not delusional - I know exactly what's going on here. Usually abrupt and sometimes extremely vulgar - but I've never offended myself.

I often talk aloud to my dogs and even sometimes my dead father. I shall only be concerned if ever I hear either answer me...!

So are they open at 10-22 a.m. or 10-22 p.m?
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
OfficeMax brand staples. They're either not sharp enough or the metal is too frail, and they jam up the stapler whenever you have more than 3 or 4 sheets.
Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?
