OfficeMax pens. Cheap junk that seem to continually fail.

Thumbnail images with 'click to enlarge' functionality, but, the enlarged image is the same size as the thumbnail.
Usually found on crap local ecommerce sites who then complain that people buy elsewhere.
Its also usually way too small, the only pic of the product with nothing for scale and stolen off google image search anyway.

People's letter boxes with missing/illegible or no numbers at all.
News reports that leave out "the" in front of "Police".
As in
"It is a matter for Police" rather than "It is a matter for the Police".

BS. They don't actually give a sh*t and we have no choice.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Are you a postie?
Auto-correct is why I have crust issues.

That's how the Police word it in their press releases. Media are following suit. Only been the last year or three from memory. There will be some logic behind it, I guess.
Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Every time we have a storm our letter box blows down the road. I would love to get rid of it. I was going to put in a post with a number on it but was told that
is not allowed. I am not going to waste money on a new box just to collect junk mail.

Truly interesting - I think I've seen you post on this before. What would happen to someone who removes, or never instals a letterbox? A fine? Excommunication? Is the requirement for a letterbox enshrined somewhere?

I'm pretty sure lots of places in Pauanui don't have mailboxes.

Nope, I thought they were all made redundant by now? Just sometimes if you're trying to find a particular house, it can be more difficult without a proper house number.
When products are rebranded.
The other day I wanted a Diet Coke, and was looking for the distinctive silver label. None were to be found, only ones with a gold label (which in the past was for the caffeine-free variety). It turns out that they'd decided to make the label gold for the Olympics. A week later, I wanted another one, but this time I was ready! I grabbed the one with the gold label, paid, left the shop... and then realised that it was Coke Zero. Some genius had decided to give both products a gold label, even though historically one was silver and the other was black.
Today I tried to buy a new box of Glad Wrap but could only find "Glad ClingWrap" (among the mass of other Glad products). After staring at it for 20 seconds I *think* it's the same stuff...
