heylinb4nz: This explains everything very well

http://hiddensecretsofmoney.com/videos/episode-4

In fact id recommend the other videos in the series which explain the difference between currency and money. I guarantee after you watch this you will think long and hard about where this whole fiat currency scam is heading.

It's not actually that interesting, and doesn't tell you any more than you would find in a basic (fifth or sixth form) highschool economics text thirty years ago. I gave up about half way through. Fiat currency isn't backed by a defined asset (eg gold or silver), a central bank is able to create currency at will (but not wealth, if the money economy grows faster than the real one you just get inflation), and the banking system creates credit (as it has since the days of the goldsmiths in medieval days).

If the politicians mismanage it then you get hyperinflation and poverty, as happened in latin america throughout the 1980s and seems to be happening in Argentina now.

None of this is exactly a revelation. Any student who passes highschool economics can explain it. Nor is it rocket science, or a conspiracy, or a "scam".

anthropologically speaking the world is a different place today compared to when i was born, compared to half a decade ago, compared to ... heck when i was in high school there was no google! now everybody is facebooking when they are on their honeymoon supposedly.

the financial system however - the rich gets richer. during the days of the feudal system the Lords owned everything the peasants killed each other in order not to starve to death. today the rich still own everything. we don't kill each other to avoid starvation, but our basic needs have moved on from starvation to taking selfies.

These days, the Lords are now the CEOs and the rich business men, and the peasents are the blue collar workers.

Yes very true

Although I think it backs up the deeper rabbit hole of central bank control over nations.

I should provide a follow up post of Rev Loius Farrakhan speech about central banks and the early history of Rothschild family.....but it may be a bit deep for some people here.

Yar but what about ye ole coachmakers. They would go broke from all those carriage returns. Then Mr Ford could move in and take over the business.

Is-15-an-hour-a-rock-star-economy

T
his pretty much sums it up for me.  Get good grades, go to uni to get Quals for a good job (and a student loan!) start at the bottom and eventually get the good job but any savings have been used to pay off the student loan, so almost mid way thru life and still getting nowhere.

Getting the real good jobs is ultimately about who you know and not what experience and quals you have...

In this "rock star economy" the majority of us are still struggling just to survive, the ever increasing cost of housing and fuel and food...

"I love this National Government so much, they make me so happy every day!" said NO ONE EVER...

You only get that kind of response to government in North Korea.

We get regaled with many such sob stories by  the MSM, on further investigation they don't quite stack up.
But regardless of whether you think you can somehow blame "this Govt" for your personal situation, how about providing us with some real information and we can have a discussion about where any responsibility lies, some lessons for those starting out, analyse your favourite (whoever it is) Party's policies and see what may have been different, or may be in future.

So let's see just how much "the majority of us are still struggling just to survive, the ever increasing cost of housing and fuel and food..."

Cheers
