nzkiwiman: ^ I am up to 80 parcels going through YouShop in two years and now would not use direct USPS postage to New Zealand, opting to send any parcels to YouShop first unless I am ordering from Amazon (their shipping is too cheap for YouShop to compete with)
Australia Post have just launched ShopMate, their version of YouShop
Base postage charge however is more expensive than YouShop - $25 per parcel + $6 per 500g ($31 per parcel minimum compared to $17.25). Bit more of a discount when combining parcels. An Australian friends signed up, address is the same as YouShop and Suite numbers start with SM.

cmys001: Youshop is the most horrible serice I have ever had. I would rather not shop at all if I had to use usehsop again.
1. they lost my package and sent me someone else
2. took them 2 weeks to tell me they cant find my package
3. to compensate they only gave me 25% off coupon for 1 package
4. i have 4 parcels waiting at youshop one of them the retailer said weighs 1.2 Kgs youshop said it weighs 2.1 KG and charged me $65 for shipping.
5. i sent them 5 emails and called 3 times asking them to please recheck the weight again and they still havent gotten back to me yet they send me timely reminders that i have 5 days to pay for my package.
6. absolute sh** hole service. the consultants on the phone are rude and dumb and have no idea what youshop is. absolutely hate their service. i given till Wednesday if no reply i will be returning all my packages to the retailer and never using youshop again.
We calculate the international postage based on the greater of the actual weight or the volumetric weight of the parcel. The weight and measurements we use to calculate the international postage for your parcel will be the weight and measurements determined by us at our warehouses. Volumetric weight is based on how large the parcel is and is calculated by:
Length (cm) x Height (cm) x Width (cm) / 5000
For full pricing details and to get an estimate of your international postage, you can use our YouShop international postage calculator.
TomW: Does anyone know of or used an equivalent of YouShop in Australia? I am trying to ship some stuff from Australia to NZ.

Finch: Hey guys. I am sure this has been asked before multiple times (Im sure I have even seen people ask this myself) and I am pretty sure the answer is no but anyway...
Lets say I order 10 different items from 10 different retailers from Amazon. I am going to have to pay the shipping costs from Youshop-NZ for every single package aren't I? There is no way to box them all together kind of thing is there?

nzpostbm: Apologies for the error in this email.
The text version of the email contained incorrect information. The discount code should be 'YSLap25' which provides a 25% discount to YouShop customers. This offer is valid until 30th Nov.
andrewNZ:
I recently purchased 3 items, two were fulfilled by Amazon and one by another retailer.
I chose the slow but free shipping option and ticked the box for fewer parcels/longer wait. The retailer shipped to Amazon who then bunged it all in one box.
Pretty good result for me, I'd be keen to hear if others have had similar experience. It could be a reliable way of consolidating parcels.
