We just had a vehicle pull up outside our house, and the driver took a picture with a camera before driving off. I was upstairs, so didn't have time to run down to ask what the heck he was up to. However, I did manage to write down his licence plate. Is there any way I can use this to look up the owners details?

Thanks for the tip. You do have to pay (although its minimal), but more importantly is the following :-

"Please note that names and addresses of individuals are not available as of May 2011 privacy law changes unless you are an authorised and approved entity."
