Hi, I am advising a friend who works at a uni overseas an academic is coming to Dunedin and would like a nice restaurant to sample NZ lamb and fine [wine].  Been a while when I was there.  Top rated places are cafes and bistros and different ethnic cuisine.  I came up with 12th placed on tripsadvisor "Bacchuus??  The other fine dining places were like 25th or lower down ... but then again the "Asian" was higher up but I felt that wasn't that great after returning back there from Wellington.  Somewhere in the CBD preferred prob due to the fact they might not have a car.
