Scenario....

You purchase an item from an internet store.
Item arrives faulty/damaged.
You contact the site and they say to return the goods at your cost for fault evaluation.

Should the consumer have to pay to have the goods returned? 





 I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

The consumer websites says the retailer, as they claim it is a consequential loss
