Hi all.

I've got a bunch of random household waste I want to get rid of (mainly old junk from around the house but a recent party has left a lot more than our recycling bin can handle). I've looked at skip hiring, as well as those flexi-bin things but they're so horribly expensive for just a car load of waste. The next inorganic collection in our area is some months away as well.

The trouble is I'm finding it difficult to find a price guide or something online for rubbish dumps in Auckland. There are some available however most want you to call for a specific quote from what I've found.

Does anyone here have any experience recently using a rubbish dump in Auckland (more specifically South or East Auckland)? Are you able to give an estimate to how much you dumped and what it cost, also which dump you used.

Any help obviously much appreciated.

Cheers!

East Tamaki has the waste transfer station:

It doesn't get very good reviews on Yellow.co.nz thoughlaughing:

I have taken a bit of stuff like garden waste and household items out there before and it was fine though. It was quite a while ago though so I can't remember the cost.
