After being away for a long time from trademe I came back to find a disaster.

I noticed something very strange either kiwis have changed or trade me is a place for dishonest people.

I see everyone's concern with feedback lash back , this was a major blow to my account after I came back.

A user bought something the auction clearly says no post for auctions under $5.00

not only I have to remind her to pick up the item but she did not have the courtesy to contact me to tell me she can not pick up before I contact her, anyway she told me her car is not working so she can not pick up, then I reply back and told her I need to know if she is getting the item or not other wise I will relist the item.

She said, her car is still in the repair shop, can i drop it off to town, I find this request stupid she bought the item for $1 and want me to deliver?

I message her and said "No" there is no chance of delivery.

I left an honest feeback based on what happened she retaliate with a red face. I took the matter to trademe the buyer was not happy with the red face obviously because she is a trader and told me she is informing trademe I ignored all her emails few days later her feedback on my page were removed but not my feedback on her page lucky me.

one day later another bad user who bought something left for me a bad feedback after I left her a bad feedback. this  person arranged a day for pick up for the item the next day I found the item still in the letter box :(. So I felt it is only right to leave her a red face it is what she deserved. she retaliate with a red face and a comment " sorry my computer was not working i got it to work after a week, which was a total lie, how could that possible when I we were arranging a pick up day within that time period. [don't everyone have a phone these days]

I took the matter to trademe again it's been a week no action from trademe. I send trademe two message in regard to the matter I am waiting for it to resolve they said a reply will be within 24 hours while that did not happen.

later they say there are only few working on this area so it will take time.

I really started to feel I should just not leave a feedback and leave only feedback after a user leaves a feedback, but on a second thought, nah no way I am going to leave bad honest feedback and just use "report unfair feedback" feature.

My advise is to learn from your experience, look at the area people are slackin and make conditions based on that.I don't like making a long conditions like a corporate trade agreement but I am forced to do so to get these bad users feedback removed and my red face on their pages stay.

I will not give in to such people.

put due date where by that time if the trade is not completed you will relist the item, also put if the item is not picked up as arranged it will be relisted, put you only get one chance to making a pick up date if you screw it, item goes back online for sale.

Every kind of thing you don't want to deal with must be put on that auction condition write on on notepad then save and just copy from notepad and paste on every auction you list.

And lastly use "report unfair feedback"  it is there for a reason. never give in to such users.
