Hi Guys,

As above.. Do fibre connections have any "profiles" like VDSL where as if you reboot your model too many times you get put on a lower profile and risk lower speeds and pings.

My concern is trying to get a VPN connection over the last few days has caused my modem to reboot about 6-7 times over an hour the last few days.

Do these reboots affect fibre at all?

I did search but can only fin details on VDSL connections.

No they don't with fibre the speed is the speed - its not like DSL which has variability.

The only "profile" as such is the layer2 one that defines your connection speed and other minor details such as the number of MAC addresses that can be presented.

Its an Ethernet connection over IP. Its not a DSL connection.

Still wouldn't make a difference.
